WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WANT TO BOOK ?

Before I am able to accept any bookings, I will come and visit you and your dog, which is free of charge. We can have a chat about when you would like me to walk your dog.

WHAT TIME ARE YOUR WALKS?

I offer two one-hour walks a day (Monday to Thursday). The first one starts at approximately 9.40am and the second one starts at approximately 11.30am.

HOW LONG ARE THE WALKS ?

One hour. I do not deduct any time for pick up and drop off.

HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU WALK AT ONCE?

Most of the time, I walk four dogs at once. Sometimes I walk more - if one of my customers needs my help, requiring an additional or different day to their usual day, I will do my best to fit their dog in.  As all of the dogs are so well-behaved and get on well together, it has never been an issue to walk any extras.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE POO BAGS ?

No, I supply these and will always clean up after your dog.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE ?

£13.00 for a one hour walk.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU WALK MY DOG ?

Subject to availability, as many times as you require, Monday to Thursday.

ARE YOU INSURED AND HAVE YOU BEEN POLICE CHECKED ?

Yes, I have Public Liability Insurance with Petplan Sanctuary and an up-to-date CRB/DBS check.

WILL YOU WALK MY DOG IN THE RAIN/SNOW ?

Yes, your dog will be walked in all weather conditions. If it's wet, I'll rub them down with a towel when I return them home.

WILL YOU NEED A KEY TO MY HOME ?

Normally, yes, although if you prefer alternative arrangements this is fine too. Any keys are stored securely and anonymously (see Terms & Conditions).

WILL YOU LET MY DOG OFF THE LEAD ?

Once I have had time to get to know your dog whilst walking, feel comfortable to let them off the lead and you are happy for me to do so, then yes, I will let your dog off the lead.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DOG NEEDS MEDICAL CARE ?

If your dog needs regular medicine, I am happy to administer this when I visit for no extra charge. If an emergency should occur whilst I am caring for your dog, I will of course get in touch with you immediately and take them to your preferred vet if required.

WHAT IF THERE'S AN EMERGENCY WHILST YOU ARE WALKING MY DOG?

I keep a note of each dog's emergency contact details with me on my walks, together with the vet that they are registered with and the vet's address and phone number.

HOW DO I PAY FOR WALKS ?

I will invoice you at the end of the month and you can either pay by direct banking or by cheque within five days of receiving the invoice.
